Music at St Andrew's Shottery
At St Andrew’s, music plays a very important role in the life of the Church.
The Choir
We have an enthusiastic Senior Choir of up to 20 singers. Commitment is just one practice a week during term time on Thursdays, Sunday 10am Services and occasional Evensongs.
The Choir sing anthems throughout the year and enjoy doing major performances for Advent, Christmas and Easter.
We also sing at weddings and funerals.
We enjoy singing music in many different styles from 16th Century to 21st Century.
The St Andrew's Players
We have members of the choir, congregation and friends who are talented instrumentalists.
There are opportunities to perform in various types of music groups for special Church events, Concerts, Festivals and Fetes.

Easter Day Hymn Project
For Easter Day 2021, St Andrew’s Church choir recorded three hymns that were played during the 10 am Easter Day Service, to celebrate the Risen Jesus!
