The Parish Centre is situated to the rear of St. Andrew’s Church in Church Lane, Shottery, close to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. There is a car park for approximately 50 cars, with wheelchair access to the Centre. The Centre, which was opened in March 1997, comprises the following:

• Welcome Area (Promenade). For safety reasons this area must be kept clear at all times, and must not, therefore, be set up with chairs and tables.

• Parish Centre. The hall measures 11.9 x 6.1 metres and has a portable stage made up of 4ft x 4 ft sections. There are six folding tables 6ft x 2 ft, fourteen folding tables 4ft x 2ft and three tables 2.6ft x 2 ft. Maximum seating for 75 people.

• Church. Maximum seating for 180 people. Please note no food or drink to be consumed in church.

• Choir Vestry/Small Meeting Room. This room holds a maximum of ten people.

• Kitchen. There is a full complement of crockery & cutlery available to use as well as a large oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave & hot water urn.

• Toilets: Male, Female and Disabled. There are also baby changing facilities.

Hire Charges

The Centre may be hired Monday to Friday – 9am to 10pm, and on Saturdays 9am to 5pm.

Parish Hall (seating for 75 max) - £17.50 per hour (or part of). The hire charge includes the use of the kitchen for making tea or coffee. However a further charge of £20 is made for more substantial use of the kitchen (ie ovens etc).

Hire of church (seating for 180 max) - £30 per hour

Booking of full complex (Church & Parish Centre) - £200

Choir Vestry/Small Meeting Room - (max 10 people) - £7 per hour.

There are no special rates for charities.
